Los Aguacatones Natural, Guatemala
A clean natural processed coffee, offering complex aromatics reminiscent of Pacamaras we’ve previously showcased.
This lot of Bourbon and Villa Sarchi was grown by of Fredy Morales, who realised the family's long-held dream last year by placing first in the Guatemala Cup of Excellence. The Morales family purchased Finca Los Aguacatones using the proceeds from selling one of their earlier Top 10 Cup of Excellence lots. Initially, the land was used for picnicking and growing avocados. From 2011, they began experimenting with planting coffee from their original farm at the higher elevations offered by Los Aguacatones.
