We’ve become very well acquainted with this coffee over the past year since we’ve been roasting it for our largest partner who requires a high-quality Organic coffee. Pergamino, this coffee’s producer, works directly with the smallholder farmers in the area, they help by providing valuable feedback and training in quality assessment. This is in stark contrast to the old model where smallholders would sell their coffee to large exporters at uncertain prices without receiving any feedback or support.
