This coffee is part of CODECH’s Women Producer program in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, which supports women-owned and/or managed farms. The producers receive premiums that fund community initiatives, including women’s health workshops in the Concepción Huista municipality. Founded in 1998, CODECH represents ten member organisations and 476 producers. Its work centres on gender equity and community development through workshops on agriculture, leadership, and wellbeing—encouraging sustainable practices and greater independence for local coffee-growing communities.
