El Carpintero, Guatemala
A delightful Guatemalan offering crisp red fruit acidity and a delicate minerality throughout.
Herminio López Mazariegos has been working on his farm in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, for over two decades—land he inherited from his father, who first taught him the rhythm of the farm. “From when I was a little boy, I used to be in the fields” he recalls, “and my dad used to explain and teach me how to work the farm.” Today, he shares his knowledge with younger generations, proud to work alongside his family and support his local community.
