The Precision filter utilises both cation and anion resins in a dual ion bed. This resin is capable of heavily reducing the mineral content in the water and softening the water considerably depending on the bypass setting. By reducing both types of ions at once this filter holds a steady PH. The precision filter achieves a superior filtration capability but results in a shorter life expectancy compared to the Endurance filter.

The filter also contains activated carbon to lower chlorine and unwanted compounds in the source water. All Peak water products must be used only with potable water.
