Current - Huaman Anaerobic Washed Rosado
This anaerobic washed Rosado, grown at 1,850 MASL, delivers jammy sweetness with a light body and a fresh mineral-like quality.
At Finca Artemira in Peru's Cajamarca region, producer Ebert Huaman cultivates the Rosado variety (Pink Bourbon) rarely found outside Colombia. This is Ebert's first harvest of Rosado, planted to enhance quality and diversity. The coffee undergoes an anaerobic double fermentation: cherries are soaked and sealed in GrainPro bags for 24 hours, then pulped and fermented for another 36 hours, washed to remove mucilage, and dried in solar dryers for 12 to 21 days. Practicing regenerative agriculture and agroforestry, Ebert focuses on soil regeneration and biodiversity, producing high-quality microlots that showcase the region's unique terroir.
